What a cool item. It's an 1806 Spanish 1 Reale Silver Coin dug in a colonial house site in Virginia. Spanish silver was legal tender in the United States from before the Revolutionary War, all the way through the Civil War. This one was minted in Mexico City. The mint mark is o over M , which is Mexico City as seen in the pictures. This on is in extremely great condition and would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
