What a beautiful Authentic Lost Lake Point found in north Alabama along the Tennessee River drainage. These points are called Lost Lake, Dove Tail , Pine Tree points, depending on what collectors you ask . This example is just shy of 3 1/2" long and is probably the nicest one I have ever seen. Has a dark blue gray color and extremely nice edge work. The patina is ancient and what you want to see. This one would no doubt grade out as a G-9 or G-10 . The edge work is so fine and thin , that it has a translucency halo when put over light as seen in one of the pictures. You would be hard pressed to upgrade this AUTHENTIC EXAMPLE!
