Wow, this is probably the prettiest dug Alabama State Seal Local Coat Size Button that I have seen in 40 years of collecting. This button is out of my personal collection for many years and it took me until now to decide to finally let some of my Alabama buttons go. It is listed in Tice's button book as AB202A and in Albert's button book as AB7A . It is 22mm. This one was found in an Alabama Brigade Camp at Shiloh on private land. Has lots of its gold still clinging on on both sides. This is the coolest variant of all the Alabama Locals. The word ALABAMA can be clearly seen in large letters. No repairs, pushes or problems. I doubt you will ever find a nicer one.
