Cool Carved Confederate 57 caliber Capnose minie ball. What it is carved into, I have no earthly idea. Actually it was hammered into whatever this is. It's a little over 1-1/2" long. It's in great dug condition. I personally dug this one in a camp of the 16th Louisiana at Shiloh Battlefield on private land. Cool piece of bored soldier art.
