Cool Brass Virginia Clip Corner buckle dug at Cold Harbor Virginia Battlefield. These buckles were issued to Confederate troops in mass , during the early part of the Civil War. This one is in great dug condition with no repairs. Has a pretty mottled green and chocolate patina and has good solder marks on the back where the hooks once were. Very inexpensive Confederate Buckle that is just as Confederate as a CSA rectangle buckle , without spending thousands of dollars.
