Awesome little brass 6th Corps Badge dug in Northern Virginia. Great condition with no bends. Has solder marks on back where the attachment pins once were. Major General John Sedgwick was the Corps commander and upon his death, Major General Horatio Wright took over command. Please note the 6th Corps badges on both generals and I have a picture of a common soldier wearing a badge like the one here. This specimen measures 3/4"×3/4" . Cool piece of history.
