Beautiful massive 12 pounder Canister Round dug at Shiloh Battlefield on private land I personally dug this about 30 years ago on a hillside facing in such a direction that it could have only received Confederate Battery Fire. I personally reconstructed this Round and it is very solid and has strong eye appeal . It has also been sealed for preservation. Several of the Canister shot are really crude and please note the VERY RARE BASE PLATE THAT IS OVER 1/2" THICK , SPECIFICALLY JUST SHY OF 5/8" . This one will stand out in your collection and displays.
