This specimen was found in a Civil War Camp at Colonial Heights, Virginia. It is solid cast brass and is rather heavily and sturdy made . Has no bends or repairs and has an awesome appearance and patina. Still has traces of silver gilt still remaining, as it was once silver gilted , The patina is a greenish olive tan patina.
