Very cool dug 6th plate size Ambrotype dug by Kenny Copeland in a Louisiana Infantry camp near Shelbyville Tennessee. This was dug with another Very famous Two Louisiana soldiers Ambrotype. I used to have the famous Ambrotype in my collection at one time accompanied by this one. The famous Ambrotype is pictured in Steve Mullinax's Confederate Buckle Book and CS Harris Civil War Relics of the Western Campaigns books . The famous Ambrotype still had a very clear image, so clear, that you could see the Pelican Buckles and buttons. This one came out of the same pit and unfortunately didn't fair as well as the other one. There is no telling what this one could have had on it , but if it was anything like the other Ambrotype that came out of there, it would have been worth several thousand dollars. Inexpensive dug Ambrotype relic with a cool history
