What a wonderful relic. This is a Confederate spur , known to collectors as a Mississippi Pattern Spur. This one was found in the Corinth Mississippi area. From one of the many Confederate cavalry camps around there . This one is in excellent dug condition, no repairs, has a pretty and smooth dark greenish patina, as you can see in the pictures, that we all love to see. This one is keeper by anyone's standards.
