This is a fairly rare rosette, dug in a Union camp at Wyatt's Crossing Mississippi, many years ago by my good Ole relic hunting buddy Gene Ingram. This camp was way off the beaten path , in the middle of no and where. I found the camp about 25 years ago and it was a virgin camp when I found it . I told my buddy Gene about it and we both hunted it together. Great memories. He also found a bullseye rosette there too . Lucky rascal, it couldn't have happened to a better guy . This relic displays nicely and has a great patina due to the sandy soil . Has about half of the lead remaining on the back in the center depressed portion. This relic is a keeper.
